Community Assets for People

CAP Services, Inc., a nonprofit Community Action Agency, created Community Assets for People in 1991 to bring low-cost capital to under-served markets, especially those providing significant benefit to low and moderate income people.

Community Assets for People provides business, housing and consumer auto loans in the six central Wisconsin counties of Marquette, Portage, Outagamie, Waupaca, Waushara and Wood.

First American Capital Corporation

First American Capital Corporation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was formed in 2002 by its sister agency, the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin.

The primary focus of First American Capital Corporation is operating a Small Business Revolving Loan Fund that makes loans to Native American owned businesses in Wisconsin.

The mission of First American Capital Corporation is to perform business development activities that benefit Wisconsin’s Indian Country by increasing access to capital in the form of business loans, providing technical assistance services that strengthen the skills of our entrepreneurs, and by advocating for Indian owned business opportunities, both on and off the reservations.
